Rivian recognise the following public holidays for employees in Serbia.

Due to business needs, some functions may be required to operate on select holidays.
Annual leave
All employees receive 25 days of annual leave per year, with an increase of one day for every five years of service with Rivian. Your annual leave days are tracked in Workday.
You can carry over unused hours into the following year. Days carried over into the following year must be used by 30 June of that year.
The monthly amount of your annual leave allowance you receive through payroll is €17.00 gross.
Sick leave
Employees who work on shifts are entitled to use sick leave up to one day per month. All other employees are entitled to use sick leave up to three days per month. During this time, Rivian provides 100% of your regular pay. A medical certificate is not required.
If you’re on sick leave for more than three days, you’ll need to submit appropriate medical documentation or certificate. If sick leave exceeds the one-day or three-day 100% pay entitlement noted above, your salary will be paid in accordance with the Serbian Labor Law.
Parental leave of absence
In addition to statutory maternity leave for birth mothers, Rivian offer 20 working days of leave to non-birthing parents at 100% of your regular pay if you:
- Are a spouse or partner of a woman who has given birth to a child
- Adopted a child (except the adoption of a new spouse’s child)
- Were recently appointed guardian or were placed with a foster child age 17 or younger
Other paid leaves
All employees are eligible to use the following paid leaves during the year:
- Your wedding: five working days
- Severe illness of an immediate family member: five working days
- Death of an immediate family member: five working days
- Death of another family member or friend: three working days
- Death of a parent or adoptive parent of an employee’s spouse or a brother or sister of the employee’s spouse: two working days
- Blood donation: two consecutive days, including the day of the donation
- Protection and elimination of harmful consequences in the house caused by natural disasters: three working days
- Moving within the same city municipality: one working day
- Moving from one city municipality to another: three working days
- Taking a professional or other exam: two working days (up to six working days during one calendar year)
- Your child’s first day of first grade: one working day
