A health assessment is an in-depth preventive health check to help ensure underlying health issues are detected at the earliest opportunity so they can be treated quickly. It includes medical and noninvasive tests that give you a clear picture of your health and well-being.

Overview

You’re eligible for one health assessment of your choice each year—100% company paid. This benefit is only available for employees, not dependants, and it is not treated as a benefit in kind (unless you have more than one health screen per year).

Schedule your assessment directly with Nuffield Health at 03452 302040.

Health screen options

Choose from four health assessment options: lifestyle, female, 360 and 360+, depending on your health concerns.

Review the comparison of health assessments for a complete list of what’s included in each assessment.

Lifestyle assessment

This assessment is conducted by a physiologist and highlights common health concerns, including weight management, stress, poor sleep patterns and poor posture. It takes one hour to complete.

Female assessment

The female assessment focuses on women’s health. The assessment is conducted by a doctor and takes one hour to complete. In addition to general wellness screenings, tests include:

  • Cervical smear
  • Breast examination and guidance on self-examination
  • Pelvic examination
  • High vaginal swab (if clinically indicated)
  • Mammography (where purchased and if clinically indicated)

360 assessment

The 360 assessment provides an in-depth health check focusing on your current well-being. Knowing how healthy you are helps you make lifestyle changes to improve your health. This assessment will highlight health issues such as diabetes, high cholesterol and poor posture.

This comprehensive assessment with a doctor and physiologist takes two hours to complete. It includes all the lifestyle and female assessment screenings, along with additional cardiovascular and laboratory tests.

360+ assessment

In addition to the tests completed in a 360 health assessment, you receive a dynamic cardiovascular test and a coaching session with a health and well-being physiologist to help you make lifestyle modifications.

This assessment takes three hours to complete.
