After you complete your new-hire benefits enrollment for 2023, you’ll need to enroll a second time for your 2024 benefits.
Your enrollment choices
These are the benefits you’ll need to enroll in during your first two weeks (the benefit effective date will be your date of hire):

- Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)
- Supplemental life and AD&D insurance
- Long-term disability buy-up plan
- Accident and critical illness insurance

If you don’t enroll
If you don’t choose benefits within 14 days of your hire date, you’ll be enrolled only in employee-only medical coverage through the Blue Shield PPO Health Savings Account (HSA) 3500 plan.
The benefits you elect now will be in effect through the end of the calendar year unless you have a qualifying life event. Your next opportunity to make changes will be during the annual Open Enrollment period in the fall, with an effective date of the next January 1.
