Anthem Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Talk Space Therapy are replacing Modern Health; EAP will be available to all employees regardless of medical plan enrollment. The following resources are private, confidential, and available to you 24/7 at no extra cost.
Reach out to Anthem’s Employee Assistance Program via phone at 877-657-6060 to understand if your existing mental health provider is part of the Anthem network, or to request assistance in locating an in-network provider. If your current provider is not in-network with Anthem and you wish to continue services, please work directly with your provider to set up a self pay/direct bill plan effective January 1, 2025.
- Counseling and mental health: Eight (8) sessions (in-person or virtual) per issue, per calendar year.
- Employees and household members are eligible for services. *Each individual receives their own balance of sessions.
- Sessions are private, no cost, and conveniently accessed — whether that’s in-person, online, or through a mobile device.
- Therapy sessions are designed to best fit each person’s needs.
Anthem members will access EAP and Talk Space through the Anthem Sydney App, and all eligible dependents will create their own login credentials.
If needed, additional sessions can be purchased through an in-network Anthem behavioral health provider (deductibles and copays will apply). Non-Anthem members will be directed to other local providers for additional sessions.
